Ava is now 17 months old and she's walking/running everywhere! She's keeping us very busy with her new quick mobility because now she's really able to get into EVERYTHING - especially things that she isn't supposed to touch like TV remotes and telephones!

When Ava gets caught with something she shouldn't have she will (fast as lightening) throw the item over her shoulder and run for it - as if to say "It wasn't me - I wasn't there - I didn't have it - No one saw me - Try to catch me!"
We can't help but laugh and we know we shouldn't!!!!

Usually Ava is a very good listener and always wants to help! She loves "helping" me with laundry by handing me things from the laundry basket or dryer to be folded :) She's also very interested in the dishwasher (although she can't help with that yet). She quite good at making messes with her toys and towels from my kitchen drawers, but she does (most of the time) pick things up when you ask her to.

The other day Ava was watching me vacuum (which she was no longer afraid of) when the phone rang. I left the room to answer the phone (Ava was in the room with the vacuum cleaner). She just couldn't resist those buttons on the vacuum - Suddenly I hear the vacuum turn on and Ava running away crying....Guess we might be scared of the vacuum now again!

This popper vacuum is much less scary :)

Ava is so big and strong she carries and pushed it all over the house now :) What a good little house keeper!

Turn it over and roll it on its wheels

There you go Ava! Good helping!

Of course...Emma has to take advantage of the opportunity to find out what's in that sippy cup!
Note to self...Don't drink and vacuum!
