Mom & Baby Halloween Party 2009

The Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Fall Fun

Today was one of the nicest Fall days we've had lately, so Ava finally had a chance to play in the fallen leaves.

She's just so beautiful - I can't believe how grown-up she's starting to look - Wow - it's just amazing how fast they grow!

She's such a little turkey - She's so full of energy and personality these days!

We really are so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl.

Last year we had to help Ava to sit and crawl through the leaves....
This year she's running through them!

She's growing up fast...

but she'll always be our sweet baby girl!

PB & J

I've tried to give Ava a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before and she has wanted no part of it, but NOT TODAY!!! Bring on the PB & J!!!

That sandwich didn't stand a chance!
Ava is a pretty good eater. She likes most fruits, is picky about vegatables (likes green beans), and loves hotdogs, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, pancakes, waffles, and pizza to name a few.

Carving Pumpkins

To celebrate my birthday (I can't believe I'm 30 - yikes!) we went to the pumpkin patch, carved pumpkins, ordered in dinner, played cards and had rootbeer floats for dessert -yum!
It was a fun day!!!
Front row - Left to Right - Mommy's ghost (because Ava knows a ghost says "boo"...she also thinks pumpkins say "boo" too), Pa Pa's Happy Jack, Grandma Jean's spider, Uncle Howie and Ski's Mr. Winky.
Top row - Ava's Baby Jack, Daddy's (non-traditional albino pumpkin) skull - leave it to Ryan :).

Oooooo - Spooky!!!

Ava was quite the helper when it came time to clean out the pumpkin "guts" - She loved putting the spoon and scraper in the pumpkin...she put her teething ring in there a few times too :) - She actually didn't get very messy - Good job Ava!

The Pumpkin Patch

We took Ava to Jim's Produce (Pumpkin Patch and Farm) with "PaPa" and Grandma Iverson and Uncle Howie and Ski. Ava had fun picking out the perfect pumpkin and seeing the animals - cows, goats (she got to feed them), ducks, roosters, chickens, pigs, and kitties. It was fun because she knows the sounds they make - She really enjoyed it!
Ava trying to find the perfect pumkin
There are so many to chose from!

What's a girl to do?!

That's right Ava - find the biggest and most expensive one - then bat your eyes at your Dad :)

That's the one!!!
