Special Outing

Ava went to visit Mommy's friends at Sunset Hill during the last week of school - We had lots of fun showing her off - She was awesome - She didn't cry or fuss at all!

Mommy and Daddy had their first evening away (4 hours) for the Sunset Hill staff party on Lake Minnetonka last week. Grandma and Auntie watched Ava and she did great! We did pretty well too, considering we were both missing her after the first hour away :)

Ry's big project

Ryan has been very busy working on our deck. Emma couldn't wait for it to be done - She laid on evey new section as it was finished :)

Alex came over to visit his new cousin, but I think he had more fun working with Ryan and playing with Emma. We can't wait for Alex and Ava to play together!

The only thing missing here is a wifebeater t-shirt...just kidding honey :)

Ry enjoying his baby and a few beers after all that work on the deck...Much deserved, but I felt this needed an explanation...It still just doesn't seem right does it?! :)

Best Buds

Emma wasn't so sure about Ava at first. Now she follows Ava everywhere and keeps a very close eye on her. She's a very protective "big sister" :) She acts very concerned when Ava cries and looks at us like "Aren't you going to do something?!" Emma (along with Ryan and I) is trying to adjust to our new baby schedule - She too has learned to sleep when Ava sleeps!
