Ava Marie - 14 months old

Such a happy girl!!!!

Ava loves "reading" books! She is quite content to sit in her crib with books and toys - It's fun to listen as she reads to her animal friends :)

Ava now says "Da Da" (Dad), "Ma Ma" (Mom), "Pa Pa" (Grandpa), "Puh Puh" (Puppy), and "Boo" (Book).

She can sign for milk, more, thank you, eat, ball, and all done.

She is SO close to walking all around the house. She will take a few steps and then go to her knees or grab onto the furniture - She wants to walk, but crawling is just so much faster! She's pretty much mastered the stairs too - yikes!

Ava is eating and drinking like a big girl now (we're down to 1 bottle at bedtime - Mommy's afraid to give that one up!) So far some of Ava's favorite foods seem to be...pizza, grilled cheese, watermelon, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, green beans and corn.

She cut 2 more teeth (bottom molars) on July 21st making it a total of 10 teeth so far!

Poor Emma is always being pestered these days, but she tolerates it well...probably because she gets so many scraps thrown from the highchair :)

Ava will dance when she hears music - It's so darn cute!

It's just amazing how much she already knows - She's quite the little Einstein :)

Ava finally got to meet Dr. Teigen - He's the one that took such good care of Ava and Mommy during pregnancy! He came to visit us in the hospital the day after Ava was born, but we didn't get a picture, so finally a year later we did :) He's the BEST!!!

Ava loves bathtime! We took this pic so Ava could be Mommy's mascot for fantasy football this year - Her team's name is MEDUSSA - We may look cute, but we're tough!
